Realising a new trend among shoppers in Vietnam, Lazada Vietnam developed their 2018 strategy to include ‘App First’, a mobile offering which would create a better shopping experience.
To raise awareness and differentiate themselves from many strong competitors in the market, Lazada needed an exceptional, out-of-the-box idea and compelling call to action that would drive users to install the Lazada app.
Capturing the customer needs and insights while elaborating on the app’s unique selling points, PurpleAsia was approached to develop a comprehensive storyboard with amazing graphic designs, expert colour matching and modern international quality motion graphics. With critical thinking and brilliance, the PurpleAsia team created beautiful, whimsical animated videos for each target customer as well as a few variations on the video for Lazada to share across their social media channels.
The videos quickly garnered significant interest in the ecommerce market and strongly supported Lazada Vietnam’s successful year-end seasonal sales. These videos are being localised across Asia.
